Previously, we were using a borrowed Yamaha analog mixer, and even though we're not sound techs, we figured out the basic operations after some study and experimentation. Having that experience proved very useful for learning how to use the Behringer mixer. We figured out how to rack-mount the mixer with the supplied brackets (instructions were not included). For setup, we have all of our inputs feeding into the mixer, a combination of wireless receivers, wired microphones, and an iPod audio input cable. We use either an iPad Mini or an iPad to control the mixer; they both work well, but of course the iPad is easier to read. The iPad connects to the mixer via the built-in wireless network.
